Dutch designer Pepe Heykoop is truly cool. In his Amsterdam studio, he creates stunning and distinctive pieces of furniture from mostly discarded materials. He also brings his work and unique design approach to India, where he partners with the Tiny Miracles Foundation, which is attempting to help 115 families in Mumbai break out of poverty. Along with providing healthcare, job training, and elementary education, Tiny Miracles aims to help kids in the program “make happy childhood memories, explore creativity, unleash talent, and smile along the way.” Very inspiring.
