Sourcing local material to work with is part of being sustainable, as it is also an expression of being in touch with Nature. Jonas Edvard's work in conjunction with Nikolaj Steenfatt produced a building material made primarily of recycled paper and seaweed, both readily available in Denmark. In turn this gets fashioned by hand into structural shapes which led themselves perfectly well to making shells for furniture.
