Corkigami: Unfolding the Beauty of a Natural Material
I recently completed a real estate development project where the credo was to use only locally sourced materials and nothing that could be considered toxic. Most amazing to me was that an eight-year-old child who came to visit said that the place felt different. Truly, the energy you put into a project does make a difference, and the closer you stay to nature, the better the outcome. These chairs, made with wood, cork, and water-based PVA glue, are beautiful and have a comfortable, reassuring quality about them.
